Molybdenum can be downloaded from different locations.

  1. The official and most secure and reliable way is downloading from addons.mozilla.org (AMO). But AMO is taking some time to check the extensions. This is the tribute you have to pay for security and reliability. If you can't wait so much, see what comes next...
  2. Download from molyb.org.
    There are three download areas: Releases, Betas, Previews
  3. Download from Sourceforge

Why the one or the other?
Beside security and reliability AMO supports the auto update feature. Neither molyb.org nor sf.net are doing this.
sf.net is used to reach users coming through that site to Molybdenum.
molyb.org is used to deliver quick fixes and preview releases.
